Since December 31, 2020, users from the Laval and North Shore are impacted by the complete closure of the Deux-Montagnes line. Mitigation measures were put in place specifically for this area.
Mitigation measures in place
- May 11, 2020: bus shuttles on reserved lanes between the Bois-Franc station and the Côte-Vertu metro station (users from or going to downtown Montréal)
- November 2, 2020: implementation of a bus shuttle service to downtown Montréal and the Côte-Vertu metro station
- Use of bus-bypass shoulders (A-640, A-13, A-15, A-25) and reserved lanes on autoroute 20 in the Turcot interchange
- Preferential measures for buses (bus priority signals, passing lane to avoid queues)
- August 23: added and enhances services including preferential measures for buses, addition of shuttles and park-and-ride lot and the installation of temporary structures, (bus terminals and parking spaces) at Sainte-Dorothée and Deux-Montagnes stations
