Phase 3 of the Pie-IX bus rapid transit (BRT) integrated project will begin shortly. Major work is scheduled as of March 22, 2021.
The work involves building reserved bus lanes, reconfiguring the median strip and installing the future BRT shelters.
Traffic is maintained at all times in both directions (with some exceptions). Detours for buses will be set up. The configuration may be changed in certain areas.
Work in the sector of boulevard Pie-IX and rue Jean-Talon, which includes building the pedestrian tunnel connecting the Pie-IX BRT and the future blue line metro station, is underway. The intersection will be completely closed as of summer 2021 for a period of two years.
