Two phases of the work will impact users from the North Shore: May 11, 2020, the closure of the Mont-Royal tunnel caused a partial disruption in service of the commuter train between the Bois-Franc station and the Central Station; December 31, 2021, the Deux-Montagnes line will be completely closed.

Mitigation measures in place

  • May 11, 2020: bus shuttles on reserved lanes between the Bois-Franc station and the Côte-Vertu metro station (users from or going to downtown Montréal)
  • November 2, 2020: implementation of a bus shuttle service to downtown Montréal and the Côte-Vertu metro station
  • Use of bus-bypass shoulders (A-640, A-13, A-15, A-25) and reserved lanes on autoroute 20 in the Turcot interchange
  • Preferential measures for buses (bus priority signals, passing lane to avoid queues)
