Mascouche line users (exo5)

A reduction of up to 30% on current TRAIN and TRAM monthly fares is offered to users who live in the eligible territory of the Mascouche line, in the predetermined geographical area. 

To benefit from the fare measure, users may register using one of the two following ways.

Online (as of October 23, 2019)

  • An online form has to be completed.
  • A proof of residence (e.g. bill from a phone or electricity provider, bank statement) containing the first name, last name and full address must be provided.
  • A new OPUS card is sent by mail.
  • Upon receiving the new OPUS card, it is possible to charge the monthly transit fare on the card at authorized locations as of the 20th (e.g. as of December 20, 2019, for the January 2020 transit fare).

At a ticket office (as of November 11, 2019)

  • It is also possible to go to a ticket office with a proof of residence (e.g. bill from a phone or electricity provider, bank statement) containing the first name, last name and full address.
  • Upon confirmation of eligibility, an OPUS card is given on-site. The discounted monthly transit fare can be charged on the card as of the 20th (e.g. as of December 20, 2019, for the January 2020 transit fare).

OPUS+ and OPUS+ entreprise subscribers

Users who live in the eligible territory will benefit from the reduction automatically.

Deux-Montagnes line users (exo6)

The rail shuttle between the Deux-Montagnes and the Bois-Franc stations, as well as the shuttle between the Bois-Franc and Côte-Vertu stations, will be free until the commissioning of the REM. No registration is needed to use these shuttles.

The fare measure for the exo6 Deux-Montagnes line is offered only to customers who were registered to the 2018–2019 fare measure as of September 8, 2019. Only yearly subscribers can receive free fares for the first four months of 2020.

Customers benefiting from a fare reduction since 2018 and subscribed to the OPUS + or OPUS + entreprise program as of September 8, 2019

  • The current subscription has to be changed to the new discounted fare in the My Account section of the exo website between November 11 and December 10, 2019, to benefit from the fare measure as of January 2020.
  • Monthly transit fares will be free for the first four months of 2020 (January to April).
  • For the following months, a monthly fare of $86.50 (regular fare) or $52 (student or reduced fare) will be applied.

Customers benefiting from a fare reduction since 2018 and not subscribed to the OPUS + or OPUS + entreprise program as of September 8, 2019

  • The subscription to the OPUS + or OPUS + entreprise program has to be made in the My Account section of the exo website between November 11 and December 10, 2019, to benefit from the fare measure as of January 2020.
  • Monthly transit fares will be free for the first four months of 2020 (January to April).
  • For the following months, a monthly fare of $86.50 (regular fare) or $52 (student or reduced fare) will be applied.

Customers benefiting from a fare reduction since 2018 and using public transit to access stations

  • Users who use public transit in zone 3, 5 or 6 to reach one of the Deux-Montagnes line stations can buy a fare, which gives access to public transit services, for $86.50, as well as obtain free transit fares from January to April 2020 if they subscribe to OPUS + or OPUS + entreprise.
  • OPUS + or OPUS + entreprise subscribers will be able to change their transit fares in their customer account on the exo website between November 11 and December 10, 2019. Users will have to enter the unique code they received.

Customers who do not want to subscribe to the OPUS + or OPUS + entreprise program

These customers can buy a monthly transit fare for $86.50, but will not obtain the four free months.
